How Tri-logical solutions work
The
Mobile Data Unit, located in the
vehicle or the remote unit, is the interface between the
remote equipment and its sensors, and the cellular network.
The Mobile Data Unit automatically transmits data in real-time
over the cellular network. The Mobile Data Unit includes
GPS, modem, interface to digital/analog sensors, data
output, output to Programmable Remote
Switches, and connections for PC, Palm Pilot, printers,
video cameras, etc.
The Communicator (central control
and management software) monitors and controls remote
units in real-time. The Communicator is connected to
the organizational information system, the Internet
and the Mobile Data Unit over the cellular public networks.
The Communicator could include a fleet management center,
security center, dispatching center, general service
center, emergency center, workforce/technicians task
assignment center, transportation center, analysis center,
business management reporting tools and more.
The Web-based management system
is used for remote applications, such as technician's
remote management, messaging etc.
